Labor, and more recently the Greens, have consistently done the bidding of the big unions because of the large donations they receive from them. They have their union mates best interests front and centre, not the interests of our nation. That is why the Australian Building and Construction Commission (ABCC) legislation was blocked in the senate, and why we are now having this double dissolution election.
Katter’s Australia Party is also in the grip of one of the most corrupt unions in the country, the CFMEU, having received $175,000. If Katter’s party gains a senate position there will be more union guided blocking of legislation and our nation will grind to a halt.
Family First supports the ABCC legislation because it tackles corruption in the building industry. Corruption and union control over the political process needs to be rooted out wherever it can be found over wise will end up like some dodgy third world backwater.
