There is a growing concern amongst LNP voters that the promises the Prime Minister made to secure his leadership of the Coalition won’t be honoured after the election.
That Malcolm Turnbull if he wins government will renege on holding a plebiscite on same-sex marriage, that he will vigorously push his personal climate change agenda, and that he will drag the country further to the left on a wide range of social and economic issues.
The Senate is the doorway that should stop bad legislation getting through and make good legislation better. Neither, the LNP or Labor will control the next Senate – the Crossbench will. Current projections show the Greens and the Greens-friendly Xenophon may hold the balance of power.
Coalition supporters should be strongly voting for Family First senate candidates so they can gain the balance of power and stop the dangerous excesses of a Turnbull or a Shorten government – keeping them both honest and accountable.
