Mark Grundy - Sandgate

Mark has qualifications in mechanical engineering and computer programming and has spent his working life involved in positions such as Project Engineer, Project Manager, Sales Manager, Document Controller Administrator and Contracts Administrator for various construction and industrial companies. Mark also spent 3 years as a self-employed business owner.

His motivation to represent Family First is found in his desire to support and protect family values which he feels are under threat in today’s society.

“I believe the family unit of ‘mum and dad and the kids’ to be the most appropriate basis for the development of our society. I also understand that through unfortunate circumstance, this ‘ideal unit’ is not always available to all men, women and children – these fractured families need appropriate support in a practical way, regardless of their personal backgrounds or beliefs.”

Mark believes we need to combat the forces acting against the best development of society. He looks forward to working for the people of Sandgate with genuine compassion, protecting the family values that made our country great and providing a hard work ethic to effectively represent Sandgate’s needs in our State Parliament.
