Elwyn Denman - Ipswich
Elwyn Denman is a long-time resident of Ipswich, having been born and schooled locally. Elwyn also served as an Alderman for Ipswich City from 1988-1991. He is a licensed Real Estate Agent and has been a Registered Valuer for many years, servicing the local community.
Elwyn has a distinguished list of achievements, including receiving the Premier’s Award in 1994 for services to the community. He is currently the Chairman of the Ipswich Regional Consultative Committee (Alcohol & Other Drugs) & has served as either President or Committee Member of the Qld Cancer Council (Ipswich Branch) from 1988 to the present. Amongst many other community service endeavours, Elwyn is also a Life Member of the Endeavour Foundation and a patron of Drug Arm.
Elwyn wishes to support family values in Ipswich and hence his decision to stand for the Family First Party. He believes government needs to do more to help struggling families and would approach every policy with commonsense and the view of what is best for families.
