Felicity Ryan - Inala

Born in Melbourne in 1967, Felicity moved to Brisbane in 1974 and is the mother of 2 children: Mitchell (11) and Cooper (9).

Felicity is a registered migration agent and currently the Director of Immigration & Visa Services at Migration Works Australia. She has previously worked in the banking and pharmaceutical industries, and has also been a share market trainer and lecturer. Felicity has a post graduate qualification in Australian Law & Practice from Victoria University.

Despite her professional successes, Felicity considers her greatest privilege that of raising two young boys (whom she describes as her “gorgeous young men”), one of whom has special needs. She is aware of the many pressures of modern family living, particularly families with special needs children.

Felicity is passionate about addressing issues of social injustice and describes her involvement with Family First as being one which has revitalized her passion to help others in ways that can truly be life-changing.

In her spare time Felicity enjoys scuba diving and reading, especially law and politics.

Felicity’s life experiences of raising her own family, working in the corporate sector and from having travelled the world extensively provides her with a broad understanding of the different needs that people from differing backgrounds have. This understanding combined with a deep sense of compassion for the marginalised and her ability to represent the needs of her diverse electorate sees Felicity well qualified and highly motivated to represent the people of the Inala electorate. She is passionate that those needs be recognised and acted upon by government.
