Mark White - Ferny Grove
Mark is a proud Queenslander, being born at Southport. He and his wife have six children, currently aged 14 to 25yo, and have lived within the Ferny Grove electorate for over 12 years.
Mark left school after finishing year 10 and has worked hard to better himself and to provide for his large family.
Mark has worked in factories, was a storeman, drove a forklift, has been a builder’s labourer, and has had numerous other jobs as well as serving the community.
He has been a part-time student for more than half of his 25 years of married life, graduating from QUT with a bachelor of Information Technology degree in February 2006. This complements his Associate Diploma in Engineering and Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications.
Currently a Technical Design Manager within the telecommunications industry, Mark is keen to represent the constituents of Ferny Grove and to ensure that polices and laws support and strengthen our families.
Mark has worked tirelessly in youth groups, including six years as a Venturer leader in the Scouting program, where he earned his “wood beads.” He has taught classes of adults, youth, and children and has helped strengthen families in the Brisbane North area where he served the community for nearly two decades.
Mark is keen to assist you and listen to your ideas.
Local issues need input by local people who care about the community and are represented by a local representative who does more than just listen.
A vote for Mark is a vote to strengthen families… and strengthening families will strengthen our community and make Queensland the best place to live.
