Janice Skipp - Cairns

Originally from England, Janice has lived in Australia since 1970. She has been married for 27 years and raised 3 children.

Janice and her husband currently operate their own air-conditioning and refrigeration business, and know first hand the challenges that both families and small businesses face in our day.

She has been active in leading community initiatives, having successfully coordinated a local campaign to prevent an adult shop opening next to a children’s playground.

Janice believes there needs to be more people of integrity in government, and has a genuine desire to raise the profile of families and a special interest in assisting people who are without the capacity to improve their situations on their own.

Her hobbies include singing, reading and snow-skiing when the opportunity arises!

Janice is known for her persistence in seeing a good cause through to the end, her positive outlook on life, and being a passionate person of integrity. She looks forward to being an honest and hard-working representative for the people of Cairns.
