Allan Vincent - Aspley

Allan was born and raised in Brisbane, and gained his initial training with the Pine Rivers Council as a truck and tractor mechanic. He then spent 10 years literally “back of Bourke” on a large agricultural property as a Manager/Engineer.

Since returning to Brisbane in 2001, Allan has pursued a career in finance, gaining a Diploma in Lending and is an Accredited Mortgage Consultant with the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia.

During 2008, Allan was the President of the Sandgate & Districts Chamber of Commerce and he has spent time on many boards in various office-holding positions. Allan has successfully run his own business in Aspley for many years and understands the needs of small business owners and the support they require from all levels of Government. As a business owner he is concerned about lack of public transport and support for small businesses (and the families they represent) in this current economic climate.

Allan is married with 6 children ranging in ages from 5 to 19. This is why Family First has had his support for many years, and why he is standing for the seat of Aspley. As a family man, the ideals of placing the family first, upholding and supporting the roles of both the father and the mother to effectively raise children in today’s society and the importance of a committed relationship are paramount.

During his free time, Allan enjoys playing piano, working with wood and cooking for his wife! He is an avid follower of all Queensland based sporting teams (especially the Broncos!)

He would work hard for the electorate of Aspley and is prepared to do his utmost to ensure provision of all essential services to Queenslanders.
